VIA Announces January Sales Results

Taipei, Taiwan, 2nd February 2004 - VIA Technologies, Inc, a leading innovator and developer of silicon chip technologies and PC platform solutions, today announced net sales for January 2004 of NT$1.24 billion (US$37.3 million approximately).

On a sequential basis, this monthly sales revenue represents a 19.28% decrease over December´s figure of NT$1.54 billion (US$46.2 million approximately).
