Acer registers strong growth in the global PC market
May 2, 2006 - Milan - During the First Quarter 2006, the global PC market registered a worldwide growth of 13.1% over the same period 2005. The positive evolution of the sector was driven principally by the exceptional performance of emerging markets and by growing consumer demand.
In this context, Acer outpaced its direct competitors by registering an increase of 45.5% over 1Q05, equivalent to 3 times the growth of the market itself.
