VIA Announces April Sales Results

aipei, Taiwan, 2nd May 2006 - VIA Technologies, Inc., a leading innovator and developer of silicon chip technologies and PC platform solutions, today announced net sales for April 2006 of NT$2.88 billion (US$90.23 million approximately).

This monthly sales revenue represents a 9% month-on-month increase on March´s figure of NT$2.64 billion (US$82.84 million), while the year-on-year increase is 118% compared to revenue of NT1.32 billion (US$41.41 million) from April 2005.
