Sep 21, 2007 Madrid - One of the most significant and fundamental strategies adopted by multinational companies in order to capture changes and detect emerging trends within their broad target market is, without question, market analysis.

The results and information gained from this analysis form the basis for offers and solutions that provide concrete solutions to the true needs of customers.

It is now clear that two distinct user profiles – Consumer and Professional – have formed, each with its own specific requirements and each with a different set of standards. This clear tendency calls for a change not only in the range and type of products on offer, but also through re-defining the organizational structure of the company.

The new organization sees the introduction of two separate divisions - PROFESSIONAL and CONSUMER - that perfectly reflect current market segmentation. The strong and consolidated presence of Acer in the EMEA market led to the creation of the new organizational structure built upon Acer’s commitment to focus on the three main areas of interest for its customers: Mobility, Convergency and Enterprise.

The new organizational structure derives its origins from a different approach to product positioning: Acer’s strategy of focusing its priorities on delivering solutions that satisfy the specific needs of the market, which was rewarded with significant growth and vastly improved customer satisfaction, has now evolved into a more efficient system that captures the true needs of the user and delivers complete solutions.

“We recently celebrated our 30th anniversary,” concludes Walter Deppeler “and we are proud to be one of the few companies to reach this milestone. In these 30 years we have implemented several organizational changes, with each transformation targeted to development and expansion.
