Stephen Elliot Will Explain How Automation Can Help Enterprises and Service Providers Achieve Lean IT by Reducing Business Risks and Improving Service Quality

ISLANDIA, N.Y., August 6, 2009 — CA (NASDAQ: CA) today announced that Stephen Elliot, vice president of strategy for CA’s Infrastructure Management and Automation business unit, will discuss “Reducing Business Risks While Improving Service Quality: Automation’s Role in the Cloud and Virtual Infrastructure” at the Next Generation Data Center Expo in San Francisco.

Elliot’s session, on Wednesday, August 12 at 1:15 p.m. PT, will address the increasing pressures IT and service provider organizations face to respond faster to business demands. In particular, he will explain why with reduced headcount and smaller budgets, they must deploy automation and virtualization to deliver operational effectiveness and efficiency.
