Root Cause: Software Vulnerability
Red Hat’s NASM package contains a buffer overflow vulnerability that may allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The vulnerability is due to improper bounds checking performed when processing certain ASM files. Remote attackers could exploit this vulnerability to overflow the buffer and execute arbitrary code.
