Madrid, June 9 2005 - Apple has released a security update 2005-006 to correct multiple vulnerabilities affecting several versions of Mac OS X.
These fixes should be applied to different Mac OS X services and modules, such as AFP Server, Bluetooth, CoreGraphics, Folder Permissions, launchd, LaunchServices, MCX Client, NFS, PHP and VPN.
The security implications are also varied and range from vulnerabilities that can only be exploited locally to remote and indiscriminate execution of arbitrary code.
Updates are available at http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/, and are offered for the following versions of the operating system:
- Mac OS X v10.3.9
- Mac OS X Server v10.3.9
- Mac OS X v10.4.1
- Mac OS X Server v10.4.1
