Description

HTML.Phishbank.VE is a phishing scam. It has been spammed in e-mail that masquerades as a message from SouthTrust Bank.



The actual URL of the hyperlink that features in the e-mail is different to what is displayed. The URL takes an unsuspecting user to another site, which spoofs the real SouthTrust Bank site in order to encourage users to part with sensitive and confidential information, namely, their online banking details.
