Update for Windows 2000 Service Pack 4

MADRID, July 5 2005 - Microsoft(*) has released Update Rollup 1, a cumulative update for Windows 2000 Service Pack 4. Users of this platform are advised to install it.

Update Rollup 1 includes all security patches released since the publication of Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 until April 30 2005. This update also includes other corrections and improvements that have not previously been distributed, such as individual security patches.

Microsoft advises users of Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 to install Update Rollup 1. The company also underlines the fact that this is not a Service Pack, and that it does not intend to distribute a new one for Windows 2000.
