Kaspersky Lab Scoops Brace of SC Magazine Awards

Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been named the best anti-spyware and best anti-worm product by leading IT security title, SC Magazine, in the Readers Trust Awards. The company walked off with the coveted accolades at the SC Magazine Awards 2006 Europe. Kaspersky Lab was also a finalist in the ‘Best Anti-Virus’ and ‘Best Anti-Trojan´ categories.

The double success re-enforces Kaspersky Lab’s position in the anti-malware market, as the company fended off some strong competition from major players in the security industry to win the awards. This year there were more than 1,300 product and service nominations from more than 330 companies.

The SC Awards reflect professional achievement and the important role that information security professionals play in helping to shape the IT industry.

The SC Magazine Awards 2006 Europe ceremony was held on 25 April at the Grosvenor House, London.
