Denial of service in Novell Client for Windows
Madrid, December 5 2006 - A vulnerability has been reported in Novell Client for Windows, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service condition.
The flaw stems from an error in the ˝srvloc.sys˝ component, which cannot correctly handle specially malformed requests sent to port 427.
This could be exploited by attackers to crash vulnerable applications, causing a denial of service.
