Brief Description
Pidief.A is a Trojan which exploits a vulnerabilty in Adobe to install itself in the computers. This vulnerability allows an attacking user to control the computer remotely and to download more malware.
Additionally, it uses a rootkit in order to make its detection more difficult, as it hides the files processes and Windows Registry entries created by the Trojan.
Pidief.A reaches the computer in a PDF document which can be distributed through different means, such as email messages or Internet downloads, among others.
